This program is designed to provide a range of practical skills and underpinning knowledge that will enable graduates to undertake a Business Sustainability Assessment, to promote more efficient use of resources and advise the commercial sector on the savings that can be achieved through improved sustainability actions and initiatives. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Assess an organisation’s performance in the areas of energy use, waste generation, water use and thermal performance
  • Identify opportunities to make savings and improve performance in these areas
  • Identify opportunities for sustainable procurement and promote sustainability policy development
  • Report to businesses with recommendations to adopt more sustainable practices to reduce their energy, water, waste, resource use and greenhouse emissions
